GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION (GDA) e.V.
Die GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION e.V. ist ein Zusammenschluss von Betreibern und Inhabern von Rechenzentren aller Größen und wird unterstützt von führenden Forschungsinstituten und Medienpartnern.
Der Verband bietet Rechenzentrumsbetreibern in Deutschland eine Plattform, um gemeinsam das Wachstum der Branche und deren Wahrnehmung in Wirtschaft, Gesellschaft und Politik zu stärken.
Ihre Mitglieder vertritt die GDA e.V. in Bezug auf Gesetze, Bestimmungen, Standards und Normen, andere Vorschriften und politische Fragen in den entsprechenden Gremien. Langfristig sollen so die Rahmenbedingungen für das Betreiben von Rechenzentren in Deutschland nachhaltig verbessert und die Investitionsattraktivität von deutschen Standorten gesichert werden.
Die regelmäßigen GDA Net[t]work Lunches bieten Raum für High Level Networking in der Branche, die den qualifizierten Austausch zu Technologie- und Markttrends ermöglichen. Mit ihren Mitgliedern und Partnern entwickelt die GDA e.V. aktiv Standards und Normen in Bezug auf die Konzeption von Rechenzentren. Außerdem initiiert und realisiert die GDA e.V. Forschungsvorhaben rund um Rechenzentren.
Die GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION e.V. hat ihren Sitz in Frankfurt am Main.
